Last updated October 22, 2026. Digital Audit is run by Elvin Peters in Toronto, Canada. Questions: elvin@elvinpeters.com.
What the tool reads
Only public information: the pages and files of the website you enter, Google PageSpeed Insights, the Google and LinkedIn ad libraries, and, if you add them, the public YouTube channel (through the YouTube API Services) and Google Business Profile (through the Google Maps Platform Places API). We never log in anywhere and never read anything behind a login.
What we store about you
- The audits you run and the channels you add, so the share link and the PDF keep working.
- A one-way coded version of your IP address (not the address itself), to apply the limit of 5 new audits a day.
- If you sign in or ask to be emailed: your email address, when you signed up, and the first site you audited.
- Two cookies: one that keeps you signed in for 30 days, and one that remembers which reports this browser ran so they can be saved to your account. No advertising or tracking cookies.
What we do with your email
We send the sign-in link and, if you ask, one email when your report is ready. Your address is kept on a contact list in our email provider (Resend) so we know who uses the tool. We only send you the newsletter if you tick the box and then confirm by email. We never sell your address or give it to anyone to market to you.
Who else is involved
The site runs on our own server in Finland (Hetzner). Email goes through Resend. The "I am human" check is Cloudflare Turnstile. YouTube data is covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Deleting your data
Signed in, go to My audits, then Delete my account: it removes your account, your saved audits and channels, and your sign-ins at once. Or email us and we'll do it.
